O.M.B. srl, a member of UNACOMA - "National Union of Agricultural Machine Manufactures" - is a company that can boast a more than thirty-year experience in manufacturing fertilizer spreaders and other agricultural machineries.
Structural solidity, distribution precision, corrosion resistance and state-of-the-art technical updating are the keynote of our policy, highly appreciated by farmers and distributors in more than 35 world nations.
The design and production of the Eurospand and Cavallo models, are carried out in an area of 8500 indoor square metres. The plant is now in a complete rebuilding phase.
Reliant upon well-established know-how, the company produces all mechanical components (shafts, gears, transmission gearboxes), metal carpentry (chassis, hoppers) and all semi-manufactured products.
The company's strategy alongside with a certified managing system UNI 9001:2008 enables the constant and continuous check of the production process, a guarantee of quality and reliability of the O.M.B. products.
The Eco-Friendly Present and Future of OMB
The necessary electric energy for its activity is supplied by a state-of-the-art photovoltaic solar plant that generates a maximum power of 730 kWp and an annual productive capacity of 900.000 kW
The Production Department:
MACHINE TOOLS: (Digitally automated via CNC lathes and milling machines) Numerically controlled lathes and milling machines, grinders, teeth-cutting, broaching and drilling machines.
LASER CUTTING for standard steel or stainless steel; thickness up to 20mm
MOULDING: with presses up to 300 tons, pipe bending machines and spinning lathes
BENDING MACHINE: numerically controlled, 200 tons - 4m long
PAINTING and DRYING PROCESS. All the metal parts singularly undergo the following treatments:
Sandblasting
First electrostatic powder painting layer
Drying process in furnace at 200° for 20 minutes
Second powder finish layer
Second passage in furnace at 200° for 20 minutes
ASSEMBLING PROCESS
FINAL TEST: on a test bed at 540 r.p.m. and 1000 r.p.m.
